Gottschalks (Pink Sheets: GOTTQ) was a middle-tier American department store that operated 58 department stores and three specialty apparel stores in six western states (California, Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Nevada); some locations ran as Harris-Gottschalks stores. Prior to liquidation, it was the largest independently-owned, publicly-traded department store chain in the United States. On January 14, 2009, Gottschalks filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Q. Hey guys! Do you know what places sell Funk Shooter shoes? They're ind of like converses, but more colorful and stuff. I've checked Macy*s, Gottschalks, and JC Penny, but none of them have it. I used to work for Macy's Merchandising and Buying Department and only certain regions got those types of specialty shoes in excess. Most stores only got a few or none at all. You should try some online stores like zappos.com sells them and endless.com would probably have them as well. I supplied their website as my source.
