Q. I love the salsa I get from Fiest Bravo in Ashland, KY and now that I don't go back to Kentucky, I never get it. Someone please share the recipe with me so I can taste it again. I love that stuff. They sell it by the pint, and I can eat the whole thing.

A. In WA for the winter half of the year all gas stations are required to use 10% ethanol. Your state may be joining the bandwagon to get farmers to "grow more fuel" and that station just got an early jump. Make sure you check into that before you get all excited they are doing something good for the environment. I think your best bet would be to inquire at the gas station who owns it then do research online with that answer in hand. Or maybe someone else here will know.

Q. My husband is taking me on a four day trip in December to Ashland, OR for our anniversary. Problem is I don't know what will be appropriate to wear to the restaurants we are eating at. We are eating at the Chateaulin, Amuse, the peerless restaurant, and Monet. Keep in mind its winter there and snows. Do I choose the more expensive more prestigous college (Miami) or the less expensive smaller and less prestigous one (Ashland)? planning on accounting and finance major. miami is the better academic school, but will cost more. Accepted into both. I do live in ohio and ashland gives many more scholarships because it is a private school so It would be much cheaper

They are, from north to south, Canyon Creek Pass, 2,020 feet; Stage Road Pass, 1,830 feet; Smith Hill Summit, 1,727 feet; and Sexton Mountain Pass, 1,956 feet. Drive safely. Give yourself five and a half or six hours and make plans for a gas stop before you head over the mountains.
